The reason behind this kit is to eliminate the factory hard lines that run under the y bridge and have been known to leak at some point after a CP3 conversion has been completed. This will give the fuel feed line to the injection pump a straight shot from the quick disconnect above the driver side valve cover to allow for the cleanest and most simple install.  Also since the trucks receiving these conversions are already running an aftermarket lift pump, the factory fuel filter will be eliminated.  Please see pictures for example!  **If you choose to keep the factory fuel filter housing for whatever reason, you can still use this kit but WILL require additional 1/2" fuel line.**  We do have a kit to work with your factory fuel filter, just head over to our website and select that option. The great thing about this is the fuel line is fully accessible from above the y bridge!!! It also clears the intake without any clearance issues. This will only pertain to 2012-2016 trucks. The 2011 uses a slightly different style line and will not work. What you are paying for is everything needed to remove the factory hard line. All the right parts so you aren't adapting odd sizes, using reducers, incorrect rubber hose that will swell, or clamps that will eventually leak. This line already comes preassembled so install is only a having to cut the hose to length and putting it together.
**This can be used with basically all CP3 conversions except for the SDP kit. They have a similar line to this**
